Learning should be fun and each day is a continuous adventure for your child. Stimulating structured and child- initiated activities provide the foundation for your child’s development. We are committed to equal opportunities for all children.
In this supportive, secure and caring environment children develop a positive approach towards their learning while working at their own pace. This makes the acquisition of knowledge fun and engaging for them as they develop new skills. From dinosaur lovers to dressing-up enthusiasts, we will create activities to capture your child’s imagination and embrace their natural curiosity.
To ensure that we meet each child’s individual needs, staff make observations and notes. This enables your child’s key person to plan the next stage in their learning journey.
We encourage outdoor play, whatever the weather and our unique rooftop garden provides this facility, come rain or shine. At Magic2, when it is time to go back inside, some children may choose to use our fantastic tube slide.
We provide learning experiences both within the nursery and in our local area. Your child will have the chance to go on trips of interest to them locally, as well as organised trips further afield.
The older pre-school children will begin to enjoy a slightly more structured day to prepare them for life at primary school. We encourage our children to become more independent, teaching them to:
When your child leaves us, you will receive a transition report to pass on to their new school. This provides information covering the six areas of learning development that your child has experienced with us.

- Visit the toilet on their own
- Wash their hands
- Serve their own food
- Cut up fruit
- Set tables for lunch
- Make choices
- Take turns
- Put their shoes and coats on and take them off
