Children are like sponges, soaking up information about the world around them from the moment they are born. At Magic we embrace this natural curiosity and enthusiasm for life with a curriculum based around learning through play.
Every child is treated as an individual and encouraged to learn at his or her own pace. The warm, friendly Magic environment allows children to develop self-confidence and independence as they begin their social development. Through both child-led play and adult-led activities, your child will build positive relationships with nursery staff and learn to play alongside and make friends with other children.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, which is made up of six overlapping areas of learning and development:

Extra-curricular activities
We offer a range of extra activities, which you can add to your child’s nursery package for a small extra cost, such as:
STRETCH AND GROW – an aerobics group for the over twos. Children learn about muscle groups, healthy eating and keeping their bodies healthy while doing fun exercises.
JIGSAW JUMPERS – a creative and lively performance group for all ages. Fun sessions based around music, singing, dance, drama and storytelling with props, including puppets and parachutes.
CLICK-IT – ICT and computer skills for the over twos. Lessons for groups of 2-3 children, teaching basic computer skills and mouse control using fun and engaging educational software.
