Your involvement with your child’s day-to-day life at Magic is really important to us. You know your child best of all, so we value your input and strive to build a close relationship between home and nursery, including working together on your child’s learning journey.
When your child has their settling in sessions, this will be a valuable opportunity for you to get to know their key person. You can sit down for a chat and share as much information as possible about your child’s individual needs.
When your child first comes to Magic, we will ask you to complete a Child Health and Information Record (which includes an ‘All About Me’ sheet) and this information will be updated at regular intervals.
We love parents to get involved, so occasionally we might ask you to help with cultural festivals and celebrations, topics of interest and trips out.
You will be able to talk to us about your child informally on a daily basis, when we will share the day’s activities with you. Every six months, we have our more formal parents’ evenings when we can discuss your child’s progress.
We are always happy to get feedback from parents and we are often told that our dedication to an open and friendly relationship between home and nursery is one of the things parents love about us.
We are committed to keeping you informed and to building a supportive, working relationship so we can genuinely work in partnership with you.
